How to break in boots?
I bought myself a birthday present.
A pair of brand new, shiny tall boots. They are SOOOO STIFF!!
I was finally able to find a pair that fit my large feet and small calf.
They are SUPER stiff. I had to climb up on a hay wagon last night to get on Indigo (whos only 15.3)
They were also slippery against the saddle when I cantered.
Anyone got any tips on something to un stiffen them and break them in quicker? I can still feel the creases in my legs from last night.

Re: How to break in boots?
It was yesterday on the 18th. Thanks
I think i'll use my lexol conditioner on them and then wax the seams on them to soften them. It worked great for my half chaps when I found them in the spring in the bottom of my trunk all stiff and moldy and they are suede. I suggest that to anyone with roughout seats on leather saddles too!
EDIT: gaaah! My blundstones, I just discovered today are cracked across the sole just about where the ball of my foot is! I've had those boots for almost 8 years it's very upsetting!
