happy horses
Hi to all
my name is micky and i live in powys mid wales with my six horses.I have been riding bitless for about a year
and still cant believe the differance it has on all the horses much happier. But the reaction from other folks not so good. All my horse are bare foot, and have a very good farrier that advocates this.
Is there anyone in my area with the same views.

Hi Micky!
Welcome here!
Glad to hear that you are so happy going bitless and barefoot. My horse is bitless and barefoot too (as well as treeless). But I live in Canada

Re: happy horses
Hi Micki - I am in Devon and have always been barefoot and bitless and as you say the folks around dont get it. My farrier also advocates barefoot and acknowledges that shoes dont do anything but harm. Its very hard trying to show others that bitless is the way to go - everyone around here just says that I because I started my boy this way its the reason he responds so well - I am considered mad by the locals but I dont care - my boy is happy and relaxed and thats all that matters!

Welcome Micki,
There are plenty of like minded people around, don't worry! You've just got to carry on and do what you think is right. If I thought a bit actually gave my horse a BENEFIT I'd use one but no-ones ever convinced me that there is one so I'm going without!

Welcome to the forum! I am from Canada and the bitless wave is just starting to come alive here! My quarter horse Stetson convinced me to go barefoot and bitless! I will never go back! Can't wait to hear more about your hosses and see pictures too!

Welcome Micky
I'm near Cheltenham myself, though I used to live in Cardiff, and the Rhondda.
It certainly can be tough being bitless and barefoot, but having the support of the forum really helps.
I'm glad you're getting on so well bitless!

Awesome.
Cute horse.
I love that last pic, your horse is so relaxed then out of the right theres the bitted horse with the bugged out eyes.

Hi Micki your horse is lovely and you seem to be comfy with each other. I enjoy coming on the forum and finding out that my ideas aren't that odd after all! Hope you enjoy it too.
