May 15-17, 2009
Natural Horse Professionals is proud to invite all people in the horse industry to an opportunity to learn more about Barefoot Hoof Care & Natural Horse Keeping at their facility in White City, Saskatchewan.
The clinician for this 3 day seminar is Dr. Steve Skinner.
Dr. Skinner is a veterinarian and the President of the Equine Soundness Association (ESA), which represents the Strasser Method in North America.

What You Will Learn
Day 1 & 2 is Lecture Based and will look deep into theory about horse health and anatomy. You will also learn how poor trimming and shoeing, nutrition, stabling, and other aspects of the horse’s life can affect its overall well-being and performance.
Day 3 will involve Hands-on Trimming & Hoof Dissection.
“How many illnesses can be related to hoof quality?”
“What does ‘navicular’ mean?”
“Metabolic issues and hoof issues – where is the connection?”
These are a few questions which you will have more knowledge and insight about at the conclusion of the clinic.
Cost: $450 For All 3 Days
Deposit of $225 required by April 15, 2009 to confirm your spot in the clinic. Deposit will be refunded if clinic is cancelled for unforeseen circumstances or participant cancels before the April 15, 2009 deadline. Deposit will not be refunded if participant cancels after the 15, 2009 deadline; however, if participant can find someone to fill the spot, refund will be available.
Cost includes snacks & drinks during the day & hooves to trim on Day 3.
Participants are required to bring their own hoof knife and rasp. Nippers are optional.
Please dress for the weather as the facility is not heated and weather permitting, some of the clinic may be done outside.
