Hey everybody!

Post by Sydney on Mon Aug 11, 2008 7:22 am

Hey, good to see a lot of famillar people here.

I am Sydney, from the yahoo group. You can thank Zoe for getting me to the group and then here after she asked me to answer an anatomy related question to bitless bridles.

I am a student of the university of guelph studying equine science. I've actually not been riding bitless (unless you include bareback with a halter) for too long. Just over two years when I bought a Nurtural bridle at can am London.
Long story short I helped them do their first clinic, promote their bridles and answer all the scientific questions that keep the wheels in my head turning.

I drive, ride english and western bitless. I also teach lessons and train bitless. A wonderful feeling to have a handful of students that have never ridden in a bit.

I have three equines of my own. Indigo, an arabian quarterhorse mare (as seen in my display pic) Naigen, a mare I rescued and it turns out shes the most well broke horse ever and Keebler, a pony that was wild that I trained from scratch.
And the whole other lot of horses I take care of, ride and drive on a regular basis. I guess they are kind of mine because I can do whatever with them and take care of them.

If anyone has any questions about bits, bitless bridles, anatomy ETC I would love to put my knowledge to work.

Hi Sydney!

I'm so glad you're here! (Thank you Zoe!!)

If you were a little closer than Guelph, I'd love to have you give me riding lessons!! I'm in St. Thomas - just south of London.
