I came across this website - I'm familiar with Gerd Heuschmann and I'd love to get his book and DVD. He is a passionate opponant of rollkur (a method of training involving hyperflexing the horses neck much beloved by some top level dressage riders )

Also this is a great article on horse growth - send it to all those people you know who are pulling their horses heads down and jumping them over huge fences at 3 and 4!

The original is from Dr Deb Bennett's site but I don't think it is there any more. I found this copy - it's well known and has been reproduced many times.

I saw a talk by Horses Inside Out on biomechanics, with a horse with all the inside bits painted on the outside - they are really good, I would recommend them to anyone who has a chance to see them talk. They showed exactly what rollkur does to a horses ligaments, and commented they never get asked about it when they give talks to dressage people...
