Avatars are the pictures that appear with your login name at the side of each of your posts and are a great way of personalizing your profile.

They are extremely easy to create, just go to the profile link on the toolbar at the top of the forum. Click on Avatar.

You then have a number of options, you can upload a picture you have on your computer, remember that the maximum avatar size is 150 pixels wide by 200 pixels high and the file size cannot exceed 64 KB.

You can upload an avatar from another site or link to an image already on the web which is great if anybody uses another photo album package such as photobucket.

Or you can use one of the pictures already in the forum avatar gallery.

If you have created your signature in your profile and it doesn't show then check your preferences tab in profile and make sure the 'always attach signature' box is ticked.

Hope this helps, if not I will have another look
