Just wondered if any of you had ever done anything with Vanesa Bee http://uk-website.co.uk/ph/html/ or know anything about her methods. She runs workshops a few times a year at the ISPCA headquarters and their horse rescue centre which aren't too far away from me and some of the courses sound interesting.

Anyone got any experience or comments? Are her methods similar to those of others ?

thanks,

Sheena study

I know Vanessa. She used to do Parelli I think but she has moved on and does more of the Kelly Marks sort of thing now, but of course everyone is individual so it's hard to say someone is 'like' someone else. I know she doesn't advocate whapping a horse under the chin with the clip on the end of the leadrope to get it to go backwards. I haven't trained with her or seen her teach but I've seen her ride at some clinics and spoken with her and I think she is OK as a rider and a person. She helps train the 'wild' Exmoor ponies when they come off the moor.
