I don't know if any of you get horse journal, I highly reccomend you do. Anyway they did a review on the micklem multibridle and dr.cooks and said really bad things about them. I don't think they were educated about bitless and bits especially to make such claims.

here is the website but you have to subscribe to read it http://www.horse-journal.com/

Does anyone else get this magazine/newsprint. What did you think?

I am going to write them a letter. A lot of what they said was a "traditionalists" approach and very biased.

Knowing that I used to be a "traditionalist" myself, I find myself reading these under-researched and misguided articles and think to myself...."Well, people thought the world was flat too".

I know that it will take time for bitless to become the norm, but I know it will. Wink

I think we have a good chance. Horse Canada, a very popular Canadian horse magazine wrote a horrible review on bitless just like horse journal so we sent them a nurtural and they completely changed their minds and the girl still uses the bridle to this day.
