Hi from Germany
Hi,
I'm a 15-year old girl from germany. Since the 21 July 2009 I have an 8-year old gelding whose called Sanjo. I ride him bitless since I have him and it works very well.
He is a calm and "slow" horse that likes riding out best. He needs a lot of motivation as he is a bit "lazy" sometimes but he isn't spooky or anything and outside he's the perfect horse!
I love him very much and I hope I can get to know a lot of nice bitless-riders I can share ideas and experiences with.
I also wanted to post a photo of my horse and me, but it doesn't work Does anyone know how to do that??
Greetings

Re: Hi from Germany
Welcome here MorningSun!
Glad to hear that you have such a good horse!
Posting a photo is a problem with a lot of people. I went online and opened a free account with one of those photo sites (like servimg or photobucket). Once you load photos into your account, there are options to send photos to forums and so on. I'm not good at giving detailed directions because I'm not very good when it comes to things like that
Hope you find everyone here to be friendly!

Hi Gina and welcome to the site
To post a picture the picture needs to already be somewhere, in an external site such as photbucket or flickr. Or it could be on this site in the public gallery or your own personal picture album.
Then, usually with the picture is a url refernce which can be pasted into the forum
And there you have it

Thank you very much for your replies!
Yeah, Sanjo is a wonderful horse we're just working on getting him a bit faster and motivate him for the work in riding class because before I got him he was ridden western pleasure
That's why he thinks he HAS to go rather slow...
I've posted some photos into my gallery now.

He's VERY handsome!!! What breed is he?
My horse, Fanny, is also rather "lazy", or so I was told by the couple who did some refresher training with her last summer. That's fine with me because I'm almost four times older than you are, and not nearly as confident as I once was. Slow and steady suits me just fine

H Morningsun, your horse has a beautiful face and you look like you have a good relationship, judging from the photo. You are lucky that he likes riding out. My pony is the same and you can have so much fun when your horse is calm and will go anywhere with you. It's great to see young people trying out bitless!
